An intruder armed with a gun was shot by a homeowner Tuesday afternoon in Palermo, according to the Butte County Sheriff's Office.
Sgt. Matt Keeling said the Sheriff's Office responded to a report of shots fired a little after 2 p.m. at a house on the 6900 block of Upper Palermo Road.
"When I arrived, I found an individual in the kitchen on the floor and unresponsive," Keeling said at the scene. "At this time, we don't know anything else."

Tough area, but most of Oroville - is a tough area. Poor Oroville - there is a reason I got outta there when I was of age to leave on my own.

I thought this sounded a little familiar. Within the month this town was where some burglar tried to rip off the woman who was the competition tomahawk thrower.
