The metro bomb squad was dispatched to the Montavilla United Methodist Church in Southeast Portland Tuesday on a report of a suspicious device. A witness said bomb technicians used a remote-controlled robot to detonate what appeared to be a pipe bomb.
A witness, Benjamin Kerensa, said an officer told him the device was a pipe bomb.

Spoke to a talk show host recently about missing Madonna stamp ads at the post office. He, a mainline Christian, was appalled, and when I mentioned the word “Persecution” he dropped his voice and said: I know, it is coming.
Amazing how we don’t stop what we see comeing.
I’m surprised the police even responded seeing as it was a church and not a gay bar or abortion clinic, must have been a really really slow day.

.... Something similar happened here in Southern California last week. After the device was detonated by the remote unit ... the Bomb Squad announced that the pipe bomb was in fact a burrito!!!
I call BS on this one. What else is the uLEO going to say? We're all out here paramilitary and all so, sure!, its a pipebomb and we heros have saved the city.
