It is futile to hide evidence the public has an interest in. The many leaks in the state investigation of the Sandy Hook school massacre are proving that.

Nearly a year later, the investigation is, unaccountably, still under wraps. Yet details dribble out

One call contains an apparent order from Newtown police headquarters for first responders to "wait until you go into the building" in which 20 children and six women were killed ....

There are other 911 calls that call into question the accuracy of yesterday's report that whitewashed the less than heroic Newtown police response.

We might discover the useful idiots that do these things are just what we tin foilers think ... they're gummint tools used at times for distraction.

Why do these killers kill their parents?

'Cause parents would tell a whole different story than what the story line requires.

The report yesterday says that Lanza fired the final shots at 9:40 — 6 minutes before the CSP accompanied by the Newtown police entered the building at 9:46.

Did they fail to interview this woman or did they just dismiss her firsthand observation:

Why is she not mentioned in the report??? She was right there.

Iirc. Mother of this killer was in the process of having him committed and the paper work was sitting on a judges desk awaiting his signature.

When seconds count - your government bureaucracy is minutes (or longer) away. Remember, in large bureaucracies, and complicated systems with many rules and detailed laws (ie. government in the United States of 2012) the scope for individual, or small group action, grows smaller and smaller.

Cops only indirectly prevent crime in that by catching criminals AFTER the fact, they prevent crimes from ever happening. Some, anyway.

Potential victims are the ones that prevent crime. Be it banks with sophisiticated alarm systems and guards, or home owners with a Joe Biden signature model shotgun at the ready while they watch TV, or the woman getting off work late, walking through the dark parking lot, with her hand in her purse, clenching her .380.

Cops are mainly only active in trying to apprehend whoever did “it” to you. It’s YOUR job to prevent “it” from happening.

I’d like to see pictures of the rooms before the building is demolished. Something about the whole situation doesn’t pass the sniff test even allowing for the usual media misreports.

What doesn’t pass the sniff test is the report claiming that he killed himself at 9:40 — 6 minutes before the LE assault on the building at 9:46 — as if those 6 minutes weren’t important because he was already dead.

Well — he wasn’t and they know it.

He was still alive and shooting when they entered the building at 9:46 and killed himself as they moved in on him.

So why the big lie???

The Newtown police had to finish their donuts and wait for the CSP to arrive while shots are being fired in the school and kids are dying inside.

“The Newtown police had to finish their donuts and wait for the CSP to arrive while shots are being fired in the school and kids are dying inside.” You said it Uncle Chip. Dial 911 and die.

In the matter of violent crime Cops are essentially accountants, or of late, perpetrators.

It wonders me, what makes the necessity of demolishing the place? What is there that must not be left intact?

Fine. I’ll give you everything about the actual shooting. But I have watched hours of these ‘parents’ in interviews that I can only describe as macabre. There is something there that isn’t right. From the smirks and laughter, to the strange affects, to the political undertones. Something is not right about this. From starry to finish the whole thing seems macabre.

As with Columbine. The police will not enter such a situation until the guy with the gun is dead. If he kills a few more or many more, well that is unfortunate. The highest duty of the Police is to maintain the comfort and safety of the Police. Second is raising revenue. Dealing with public safety and violent criminals comes somewhere down the list.

Not to mention the helicopter footage of people going around in circles in the building, out of the building, in the building, out of the building ...

Honestly, would you want your small child going to school there and subject to fears and nightmares? It just isn't a right place for impressionable youngsters any more, or anyone else in the community who lived through the horror, news reports, distraught neighbors, etc.
