Immigration reform isn't even close to a priority among the coveted Hispanic demographic which would ever vote GOP anyway.

It is a huge priority among the gimme portion of that demographic who will reflexively vote Democrat and want more free stuff.

Ironically, the best way for the GOP to gain Hispanic voters would be to stand firmly against amnesty.

Two separate polls of legal Hispanic voters indicate a 2-to-1 majority against amnesty.

And, upon reflection, doesn't that make sense? Legal Hispanics have either been U.S. citizens for generations or earned their citizenship by going about it the right way.

Consequently, just like the rest of us, they're not in favor of illegal invaders getting their citizenship as a gift.
