The report concludes that this guy could not function in normal society. Will anything be done to detect and restrict the thousands of others similarly situated who are out there ready willing and able to do harm BY ANY MEANS that they can find? No way, the ACLU will eagerly protect them. Because of that fundamental reality this type of madness will happen again gun or no gun. Meanwhile in Chicago, every damn day is Sandy Hook.

Fortunately, we have this little thing called “innocent until proven guilty”, so no, nothing will be done to stop “pre-crime”.

That's what I say. We don't need mental evaluations for those seeking to buy guns. We need institutional care (or house arrest) where those who will not be legally held accountable for their actions are under constant oversight by their established legal guardian/chaperon. Guns, cars, knives, poison, fists, pillows (smothering) et al ALL can be used to kill.

I'm tired of hearing that the drugs made them functional. They made them appear to be functional. Clearly they still malfunction (or cannot be trusted to keep to their prescription on their own).
