As sad as this story is, it is of little value in determining whether “they” want us there and for how long. There are certainly well-armed people who do not want us there, and most of the action takes place where they live. But the government has not asked us to leave, and the large assembly of tribal elders has just approved the plan for orderly withdrawal with only a small force remaining. The story is certainly no basis for calling the entire nation a “POS.” I find the use of expletives on this site appalling.
The solution to this unfortunately, is resignation on January 1, 2009.
If I posted who I really feel is to blame for this along with a bunch of other things, I’d probably be flagged in an NSA database somewhere for visitation later.

It seems he has done well, was an Eagle Scout, and had two years of NJROTC in HS.
He scored second in rifle for the whole 'batch of newbies', missed first by one point. I guess all that time with Grandpa in the back 40 paid off.
He's a fine young man, but I sure don't have a good feeling about his future, not what I was hoping for.
