I'm going to have to lump this story with the one about the 60 year old woman who claims she was attacked and then shot two teens, but no one can find an original source to the story. When it appears on examnerdotcom, please do not attempt to point to that as a valid 'source', thank you.

Two things stand out from this story: first, the 69 year old age is suspiciously close to the other story one. Second, the claim is also that two shots were fired.

Oh, and his (the veteran's) name is not mentioned, which is curious because it would normally be prominently displayed -unless he was one of holder's people. Also a 'partner' is mentioned but his name is not printed either. Hmmm.
