The Second Amendment CLEARLY protects the right of the people to keep and bear arms. If the Founders wished to protect the right of Militias to store arms in locked armories, they knew how to say it.
It's ludicrous to suggest that our Founders, who had to fight their own government to retain their arms, would enumerate a power of the government to take them away.
