Sure, he was careful to couch it. But the bottom line is that Zbigniew Brzezinski believes that Iran is willing to abandon its goal of acquiring nuclear weapons.
Jimmy Carter's former national security adviser offered that opinion in response to questioning by former RNC Chairman Michael Steele on today's Morning Joe. Brzezinski also claimed that the recent round of negotiations have been "substantive, serious" and that the Iranians have been "very accommodating."

Believe Zbigniew Brzezinski, anyone? Ping to Today show list.
Idiot.
One of the worst advisors in the second worst presidency in modern memory. I wouldn’t believe him if he told me what time it was. What have we become that this idiot is held up as an “expert”?
Hey Zbig!
Your lack of credibility was well established long ago.
It is only equaled by Obama’s.....
There’s a difference between aquiring and building.
Where’s the parody warning?
The sad part is ZB was considered the hawk among Carter’s foreign policy team.
So is he lying to us or is he stupid enough to believe the Iranians?
Lord but they must be laughing too much to sleep.
“And if you like your plan, you can keep it!”
Most Americans are only dimly aware of the threat from Iran should they develop nuclear weapons capability. They like hearing about the U.S. using ‘diplomacy’ to rein in the bad guys because we’re sick of foreign wars. The left know this and drag out nincompoops like Zbigniew Brzezinski, call him an ‘expert’ and he predictably says what too many gullible Americans want to hear, thus helping to pave the way for some ‘deal’ that benefits no one but the mullahs in Iran and their goal of having nuclear weapons to use on Israel and any other perceived ‘infidels’ in the region, thus igniting WWIII. God help us because no one else seems to even try anymore.
Brzezinski has always been a scheming American Hating Traitor.
Vermin.
Dumbass.
Is Brzezinski on Iran’s payroll, or is he just playing a guy on Iran’s payroll on TV?.
Treasonous jerkoff.
Idiots age, but not gracefully.
Zbig advising us on Iran is like Richie Incognito telling NFL teams how to welcome in their rookie classes.
Suppose it were true that Iran, or any nation XYZ, desired to abandon a nuclear weapons program.
They can do this unilaterally, in their own self-interest, without greater fear of harm, without asking anything from any other nation. Many, many nations are in this position, and have done so.
This man spend his career undermining and/or selling out America and our allies around the world.
Do you believe him all of a sudden now?
Would that be a prudent thing to do, given that we are Iran’s “Great Satan,” the country Iran has repeatedly promised to destroy first and foremost?
OK. Let’s all just keep sitting around and doing nothing... so that Iran can finish its nuclear bomb factories and its various ICBM and other (even simpler) delivery systems.
Then we will learn just how prudent it would be to trust Brezhinski
Stop smoking that Shiite you old fool!
