I think “leech” is correct. “Leach” is a verb that means to remove solutes by percolation; a leech is a relative of the earthworm that drinks blood.

Leech is correct if you meant blood-sucking parasite.

Leach is correct if you meant a process of draining away the substance of something.

So it’s all good.
