The other night I caught a segment on O'Reilly in which college students could not name the party to which Lincoln belonged. When the interviewer asked them to "go ahead and guess," IIRC all answered "Democrat" except for one student. This doesn't help: Public University’s Plaque Labels President Lincoln A Democrat
