The Dallas of 1963 did not shoot JFK.

A whiny little wife-beating Communist shot JFK.

The right WAS on the rise in the early 60’s. The John Birch Society, the Draft Goldwater movement, etc. all culminating in Goldwater’s nomination in ‘64.

Nixon was in Dallas on November 22nd. He didn’t find out about the assassination until he got back to New York and his doorman told him. Nixon immediately called J. Edgar Hoover, and Nixon, already thinking of 1964, asked who killed Kennedy, one of the right wing nuts? Hoover replied, “no, it was a communist!”

So there actually was a real fear at the time about these “extremists” (in relation to the moderate-liberal national consensus).

But the idea that the Tea Party has its roots in Dallas is ridiculous. Conservatives then, as now, rose up in response to the wishy-washy Eisenhower, Richard Nixon choosing Henry Cabot Lodge for VP, then his loss, and a democratic administration. They, then as now, were determined to take the republican party back from the Deweyites. Their strength and fervor took the nomination in ‘64, the ‘66 elections and the presidency from ‘68-’92 with one four year interruption (given to a supposed new-democrat from Georgia).

That they were betrayed by numerous moderates along the way is the history we all need to be aware of, to keep such people out of office!

Yeah, that’s what I was thinking -

Rush said, before this is all over, the left will be saying that the Tea Party killed Kennedy.

You're right, KC, he's truly pathetic.
These libtards can't get over the fact, that Kennedy was murdered by one of their own.

The employees of the W-P are plagiarizing employees of the MSM of that era.

James "Scotty" Reston IMO led the liberal rabble accusing the growing modern conservative movement of creating a "climate of hate" that caused Oswald to do what he did.

Even Republicans piled on later with the likes of Scranton and George Romney (Rockefeller Republicans) calling us "purveyors of hate."

I do not specifically recall Walter "North Viet Nam Communists' Most Trusted Man in America" Cronkite attempts to tie Barry Goldwater to the assassination but I read that Cronkite did try and later apologized.

JFK critic and right-leaning Joe Pyne's radio program was not carried locally where I lived but he was probably the closest thing to modern talk radio. He was run off the air in I believe hundreds of stations coast-to-coast.

What followed created the silenced majority that lasted decades.

The FCC "Fairness Doctrine" was used by liberals/progressives to restrict the First Amendment without having to repeal it -- they enforced "fairness" by threatening to take the radio station owners' licenses if citizens complained about their programming content

After 25 years of a restored free speech the current Administration is nudging talk radio to self-impose another "Fairness Doctrine." Personally I rather see civil war rather than lose free speech.

Most libtards will vehemently deny being communists
while simultaneous, just as vehemently, being anti-anti-communist.

Liberals can’t debate the issues so you resort to name-calling.

Check this out and then decide if the conspirators were t partyers or bourbon and branch partyers

I think they were all pretty much Democrats.

I saw something about a book recently released that says LBJ had it done. I thought I would hear more about it but I haven’t seen it mentioned again.

the author is not insane.

it is to our own detriment to pass this off as insanity.

this is deliberate smearing, transferring and projecting what happened to kennedy onto today’s current most dangerous democrat political enemy.

it is propaganda. clearly.

the democrat socialists love the concepts in 1984 and alinsky, and they need Goldsteins - people and concepts they turn into objects of unbridled, unthinking, just reacting to , hate.

this i what they are attempting to do with the tea party. law abiding gun owners. pro-lifers. the health insurance companies. republicans for somehow - somehow - damaging obamacare. they need to deflect the democrat proles’ rage at failures to others and off themselves.

Goldsteins are strawmen. but they are’real groups and people. they are whipping boys. they are the excuse, they are to be the focal points of hate for their base peoples.

He (Obama) is spending us into bankruptcy...

The analogy dies in the first sentence. Kennedy was fiscally conservative and the only one complaining about it were the northern democrats of the early 60s.

It is much more accurate to equate Oswald with the Occupy Wall street crowd, not the TEA party.

OWSies = Oswalds

OWSwalds

Lee Harvey Oswald was ahead of his time. If he were alive today, he’d be Obama’s Secretary of State—or maybe Ambassador to the UN.

A communist killed Kennedy. End of story.

Hence all the conspiracy theories, they want it so much to be a "Right Wing" conspiracy.
