My mother is a Swedish Jew, or rather a New Swede (post-ww2). According to her, Annika Hernroth-Rothstein is an old Swedish Jew. The Henroth family has been in Sweden for as long as the US has existed. She is a Swede.
I don’t know how long the family of Annika Hernroth-Rothstein has lived in Sweden, but the edict allowing Jews to settle in Stockholm was signed by the king Gustav III in 1775 - thus, one year before the Declaration of Independence.
