Don't let their sweet smiles fool you; this is a fearsome foursome of trained killers.
This cheery selfie shows the first group of women to complete the Marine Corps' infantry combat training, a grueling 59-day course that preps Marines for war.
Fifteen women began the training at Camp Lejeune, N.C., on Sept. 24, but only Harlee (Rambo) Bradford, who snapped the pic, and her grinning crew made it through, CNN reported.

Harlee Bradford, center, and three other women are set to graduate from the Marines infantry combat training school, a grueling regimen that preps Marines for combat.
Bless their hearts.
Only 4 of 15 made it... is there some hope that the standards are not being “lightly enforced” for the “fairer gender”?
Hopefully they weren’t hitting from the ladies tee.
From the CNN link....
A fourth woman finished the course, but was injured and couldn’t pass the required combat fitness test. She will be allowed to graduate once she heals and passes that test.
The women went through the same physically grueling exercises as the male Marines, including carry 90 pounds of combat gear on a 12.5-mile march, Krebs said.
They also had to perform three pull ups, just as the men did. For ordinary Marine Corps physical fitness tests, women can choose either the pull up or something called a “flew arm hang.”

If they actually did it without any preference being shown then I am very impressed.
72%+ failure rate. That’s too high a price to pay for being stylish.
I’m going to get flamed for this.
The Israelis do NOT integrate. They have a reason for it. They tried, it did NOT work.
The Soviets tried to integrate, and then did the same thing the Israelis did: gave it up and went “separate but equal.”
Nothing good can come of this. Its a stupid idea.
But I’m old, WTF do I know?
Social experiments with the military are doomed to fail. History proves as much.
The men only do 3 pullups? I was a college athlete on athletic scholarship but was never particularly good on pull ups. I could do around 20 but most of my team mates could beat me.
Three pull-ups! That can’t be Marine standard.
You are correct.
I agree entirely, and don’t give a crap if anyone minds.
I’m sure they’ll have to sign up for the draft to get the fedguvinc bennies,too...right?
When I went through boot and ITR, only 3 push ups would get you laughed out of the Corps.
Well put.
But just passing basic is just the beginning. I’d like to see these girls in a year from now. After bunking with real men. After realtime combat experience in Shitcanistan. After enduring the same experiences that real Marines go through.
I too, cannot believe three pull ups is the standard. When I played high school football we were doing 20 with pads.
Three pull-ups! That cant be Marine standard.

Evidently they dumbed down the standards so that pretty little gals could also compete.
I have nothing but respect for these young women. Maybe it’s sexist for me to feel this way but I would rather they be allowed to pass on their genes to future generations than be wasted in the meat grinder that is combat.
Twenty-first century PC silliness.
Ten pull-ups was the minimum requirement to go airborne in WW2.
