I heard this referred to on cable news over the weekend. Although the underlying article is dated March 30, 2010, I found it very interesting. I think media should be made aware of it. Now is the time for a complete repeal of Obamacare.

Who can forget citizens/constituents chasing, and scaling the hood of Rostenkowski's vehicle?

Defund it! That would be a lot easier.

Oh, that’s right, the republicans rejected that notion of exerting their authority. They said they’ll be much stronge on this issue when they win back the Senate and the Presidency, not that they didn’t have authority while they held the house as majority, it’s just that they’ll be much stronger then.

Yeah.

Oh, and that Cruz guy, once they get rid of hime, they’ll be much stronger.

These guys do not want to win nor do they want to take away this monstrosity, nor do they want to run winning campaigns against it.

They are shaking in their tassled loafers, losing lobbyists over this. They’ll have to appease them by racing to load up on illegal immigrants, oh they’re so poor - They RUN the malls, supermarkets, In Texas. They have contempt for us.

THese republicans are a stupid mess.

MCCA was the first attempt to “means test” Medicare.
The added costs of the new items covered were to be paid for by an income tax surtax of $22.5 on every $150 of income taxes paid by Americans the age of 65 or older up to $800 for singles and $1600 for couples.

My guess is a proposal like this would be warmly received by the Baraqqi regime today.

Thank you for referencing that article gwjack. Please bear in mind that the following critique is directed at W. James Antle III and not at you.

W. James Antle III: ...they would first need to win the presidency and a filibuster-proof majority in the U.S. Senate.

Mr. Antle needs to brush up on the Oval Office's constitutionally limited powers. This is because Congress can override a presidential veto with help from voters.

More specifically, if patriots and former Obama supporters can get themselves organized to elect a 2/3 conservative majority in both Houses of Congress in 2014 then Congress will have the power to do the following. Congress will have the authority, under the Constitution's Clause 2 of Section 7 of Article I, to override presidential vetoes. This means that a conservative supermajority-controlled Congress will be able to repeal Obamacare without Obama's signature.
