Actually, companies will just keep a handful of core employees and subcontract everything else out to temp agencies doing everything from cleaning to accounting. The best employees will be offered positions with the subcontractors.
That is, if the Swiss are dumb enough to adopt this proposal. But the odds are against it.

Isn't that already standard practice in that part of the world? The only surprising thing is that (for a heavily regulated geographic region such as Europe) the practice hasn't been heavily attacked.
Then again, the overall lack of a strong work ethic and greater government dependence does influence things.
