Can’t argue with truth
Well it’s time to get pro-active.
This is one thing that bugs, bugs, BUGS me about FR.
It could be SUCH a staging ground for weapons of truth, but often (to extend the metaphor) it’s just a place to shoot them at paper targets, and brag about how wonderful we are once we have done so. And sometimes we take up lies too (admit it, we often get on vengeance and human-hate benders which are contrary to the Lord’s directions in the gospel).
While that’s not WHOLLY unproductive (it at least hones our aim) it has to go further in order to do the right thing.
There’s a whole world out there suffering under the burden of Satan and his lies, that could be freed through the use of these truth weapons (which will mow Satan down tout suite).
We need a truth war campaign room, to say what ought to be blindingly obvious, but again all the lies of the world have hazed out more of us than we are willing to admit sometimes. We need actual plans to go into that actual world and use that truth.
Shoot, I’d be glad to start such a thread or category or whatever on FR to try to get an earnest, not just practice, war of truth headquartered here. Can communist governments falsely claim a “ministry of truth”? Well why can’t we, who are God’s children, truly claim that, at least arranged along very broad, cross-denominational Christian principles?
One big caution. The cross can NOT be evaded here. We might get knocked back temporarily by evil. But if we persist in faith we WILL win, and the losses will prove only to have been useful training grounds. The question is how much pedal are we willing to put to the metal.
