“I wonder how many people have lost their health insurance in the recent weeks in the nation.”
The big question no one is asking is: How many people have died because of the actions of the Fraud in the white hut?
The actions of the democRATS can be directly tied to many deaths that are occurring as we speak. Hospitals and doctors are cutting back on treatment, and I guaran-damn-tee you that people are suffering and dieing because of it.
When will the media cover that little bit of information?
Oh yea, it’s not a scandal if the media fails to report it.
We are in the time of tyranny.
Well, I suggest GOSPEL guns.
We are so curse-minded today that we don’t see an opportunity for new blessings if God himself hollers at us, “HEY YOU.”
I've wondered about this number. You have any idea if it's "policies dropped" or "people".
4.2 million people is terrible.
4.2 million policies, many or most with families on them, is disasterous.
I read that the administration of the system will be financed by a 3.5% charge on the premiums.
Their, fixed it.
My (admittedly limited) understanding is that it's not quite that simple. They've set their rates for 2014 based on current law, expected risk pool, customer base, and a whole bunch of other variables that I have no idea about. One thing that I am sure of is that it's not a process that can turn on a dime.
THEN, the new rates - in my state at least - need to be signed off on by the insurance commissioner. This is a gov't bureaucracy, like all others ... have you ever seen one work quickly? Yeah, me either.
So - in this particular case, I'd argue that Obama is trying to use insurance companies for political cover, by "allowing" them to present an option they can never meet in the limited time available. He'll then point at them and say, "SEE! I TOLD them they could offer you your old policies and they didn't. They're the bad guys here!". And low info voters will go along with it, because they're low-info.
Now, an argument could be made that the insurance companies should never have supported Obamacare to begin with. To mix metaphors, once they put both feet in bed with Obama, they needed to dance to his tune. So they're *very* complicit in this whole mess.
Just not complicit for this specific problem.
They only work when a spiritual vacuum is left unfilled.
Next to God, the devil really does pale. It takes some suffering to get to the point where this becomes clear. And some of the needful suffering is on the part of those who will present the message. They’ll sneer. They’ll flout you. They’ll mistreat you. Then ultimately it will dawn on some of them what they were missing and we see what the bible calls repentance, which is the acceptance of a new attitude.
We’ve gotten allergic to suffering, and lost that “YEE HAW” cowboy confidence (or at least sternly gritted teeth) in the face of adversity.
This is the difference between raw, gut Christianity and the polite, polished, inoffensive faith of modern times.
I did. I looked around a few weeks ago and found a new plan (higher deductibles of course) for only $100/mo more than the old one. Yesterday, I went ahead to sign up for it and discovered that it had increased another $80/month just last week.
Oh sorry. I mean the evil tactics work.
Evil tactics are, at bottom, only a perversion of good tactics.
That's the new suck-up phrase... When you see that term used you're dealing with a democrat. One either out in the open - or lying to hide....
Actually, it will be illegal for the one year as well. But Obama has promised no one will prosecute the illegality.
The "fix" is a plea for the insurance companies to break the law because Obama is so very trustworthy!
“Mr. Cline from 1-800-MEDIGAP states “the consumer is going to feel increased expenses. Insurance carriers don’t have to give consumers the same insurance plan back at the same rate. “
An ineligible POTUS can be sued in Federal Court for a particular injury caused to an individual by the usurper. The Founding Fathers wrote the Constitution to limit government and not the power of the majority to elect whomever they chose as their President. But, the Bill of Rights was added to protect the individual from an unqualified, ineligible President.
The individual, after suffering a particular injury due to the actions of an ineligible President, can object in Federal Court to the laws and regulations imposed upon them by the usurper. If Obama drops his Hawaii COLB on the Judge’s bench, the plaintiff can request discovery and subpoena certified copies of Obama’s immigration records, SSN application forms, Occidental College records and applications, student loan applications, Federal tax returns, etc ...
The plaintiff cannot ask the Court to oust the President or overturn all laws and regulations. The plaintiff can object to the actions of the usurper and demand a waiver until an eligible President is sworn in.
Insurance companies don’t make money off their premiums. They make them off their investments. Maybe their investments haven’t been looking to good due to Obama and Co.
They may be forced to on the surface politically. It’s like insuring your car. It’s only as good as it’s age of depreciation which is a lot in the car world. Obamacare is going to have to be repealed.
