Julia Davis hired an Israeli security agent to guard her. Perhaps that's the difference.

Lots of times folks who are whistle blowers are willing to accept the consequences of their choices. But they can be shut down if they feel an innocent person will be forced to die for them. It's a loan shark - mob type thing... Evil stuff... stuff you would expect from some African dictator. Or maybe a Stalin type.
