Baldfaced lying is not an impeachable offense.

"Treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors" is the standard.

If the Congressional GOP were stupid enough to try to impeach the President over his shameless lying, they would look like fools.

Wiki's description of high crimes and misdemeanors:

The charge of high crimes and misdemeanors covers allegations of misconduct peculiar to officials, such as perjury of oath, abuse of authority, bribery, intimidation, misuse of assets, failure to supervise, dereliction of duty, conduct unbecoming, and refusal to obey a lawful order. Offenses by officials also include ordinary crimes, but perhaps with different standards of proof and punishment than for nonofficials, on the grounds that more is expected of officials by their oaths of office.

No comment, just for common edification.

Lying to sell something is not just lying. It’s called fraud. It’s a crime. Many people have done hard time for fraud/lying. Martha Stewart for one.

I believe these serial lies amount to fraud which would be impeachable. Please read what Andrew McCarthy has to say about this: "Obama’s Massive Fraud: If he were a CEO in the private sector, he’d be prosecuted for such deception.

If somebody doesn't do something about his criminal behavior, we'll soon be where Mark Steyn says we are headed:

Hey, relax: If you like your constitution, you can keep your constitution. Period. And your existing amendments. Well, most of them — except for the junk ones . . .

Misdemeanors...a really bad attitude. This qualifies. Technically, a lot of stuff does, but it should be used with great restraint.

That said, it would be stupid to push an impeachment that isn’t going to succeed.

Correct. However, in the case of 0bamacare, 0bama committed 'Fraudulent Misrepresentation' by lying about 'keep your health care plan' and 'keep your doctor' in order to get through the 2012 election, then kept lying because he would entrap himself in a crime had he switched to telling the truth after the election.

Had 0bama told the truth about 0bamacare, HE'D PROBABLY NOT BEEN RE-ELECTED, so this 0bamacare 'bait and switch' rises to a more serious level.

When you add up all the WILLFUL LIES and distortions leading up to the 2012 election, to include the LIE that Benghazi was a 'protest over a video' and the LIE reinforced by the Census Bureau that the unemployment rate dropped to 7.9% from 8.1% right before the election, a clear case can be made for Impeachment.

Having a pathological liar in the White House is downright dangerous for America and destructive to our foreign policy, too. The totality of 0bama's lies qualifies him for Impeachment!
