THere are some of the details you need to know.
What the government will require you to do:
Sec. 202 (p. 91-92) of the bill requires you to enroll in a "qualified plan." If you get your insurance at work, your employer will have a "grace period" to switch you to a "qualified plan," meaning a plan designed by the Secretary of Health and Human Services. If you buy your own insurance, there's no grace period. You'll have to enroll in a qualified plan as soon as any term in your contract changes, such as the co-pay, deductible or benefit.

It is interesting that the law states that the provisions and terms, as well as the costs of the government policy will be released within 18 months of the law being passed. They sure missed that one. Maybe they should have postponed the whole individual mandate by the same amount of time.
I knew this when I found out they upped the HSA approved Minimum Deductible by $50, eliminating any tax advantage I got from having a Health Savings Account .
“qualified plan” is donating to the Democratic Party ?
“A family earning $102,100 a year before taxes will have to pay a $15,000 premium plus an estimated $5,300 out-of-pocket, for a $20,300 total, or 20% of its pre-tax income.”
Unless repealed, numbers don’t lie and this eventually becomes reality. Is every home in any decent suburb for sale yet? They will be.
Thank you for posting! This has crazy details.
“ Sec. 1114 (pp. 391-393) replaces physicians with physician assistants in overseeing care for hospice patients.”
They really think PA’s making 100k a year are going to be available all night, every night. More like Mom is gonna die at 3am without morphine.
Hospice doctors are very dedicated. This writes off what they do as insignificant.
I have posted another Betsy McCaughey article that should interest people.

Tomorrow, I will post the McCaughey article, “The Government Assault on Seniors” . That article has even more details.
Sign of the Work-Camp collapse, including consumption-discretionary deflation.
He proposes adding the communitarian perspective to ensure that medical resources will be allocated in a way that keeps society going:
ah... hes one of the “euthansian-Americans”.....
A morning bump for Betsy McCaughey.
