Hollywood producer and Obama donor Harvey Weinstein said the United States is "embarrassing" because of its adherence to the Second Amendment and lack of universal healthcare.
Appearing on Piers Morgan Tonight Friday, Weinstein said "this is the only the country in the world where we don't have health care. Countries embarrass us around the world."
"And this is the only country in the world where we don't have a gun law. I watched you, you know, talking about that," he said. "You know, quite frankly it's embarrassing. Obama's not embarrassing. The country is embarrassing."
Morgan asked Weinstein during the show's Friday installment "if he could enjoy the work of someone like Chris Christie," the Republican governor of New Jersey.
"I love him," Weinstein said. "I think the guy's fantastic."
Weinstein then said, "as good as Governor Christie is," he could become an "excellent Secretary of State under President [Hillary] Clinton."

I’m guessing more people read about Morgan’s insipid show on FR than actually watch it. What a joke he and the show are. They book Harvey Weinstien on a Friday? LOL. That is scraping the bottom of the barrel even by CNN standards.

I had health care and was ok with it. I still have it but have to pay more for less. The comparable plan to last years plan increased 50%.

The Second Amendment is in the law of the land...also known as the Constitution. It is considered a God given right. It has worked for over 200 + years and will continue to do so unless we allow liberals to screw it up. Conservatives implemented this law.
The ACA is not constitutional, is brand new and is screwed up beyond belief. Liberals implemented this law.
So what do we have? Weinstein wants to take away the 2A, a guaranteed right, while at the same time implementing ACA, an implied “right”.
That’s really good logic he’s showing there.
Mr Weinstein appears unshaven and a bit overweight — and seems to exude an air of arrogance.
Sort of reminds me of Chris Christie, whom he apparently “loves!”
