yup! you go in High and come out Gay.

I remember hearing that line back in the 70s when I attended West Chester State! (now West Chester University.) Ever been to the "Animal Inn" or "The Pig?"

What were the main things the author claimed as signs of gays living in his area?

Gay bars and a bathhouse.

It shows what the “gay lifestyle” is all about. There’s nothing more to it than that.

The gayest place in America is Alabama:

Being gay is your identity? I’m suppose to care?

Exactly. How pitiful it is to rank gender above all else in explaining yourself to yourself and to the world.

So I think we have to distinguish simply between the homosexual guy who lives down the block ... and the Obama oriented political activist.

Well now, livius, the homosexual guy who lives down my block wears a skirt to the supermarket...and he's ugly as sin. He'd never get away with looking so bagged out in San Francisco. Is he an Obama activist too? Not an effective one.

Mostly I just leave them alone and they leave me alone. The problem with that is that in D.C. nobody wants to leave you alone. It's all about the power.

No caption needed, but shouldn’t the flowers out front be purple? And where’s the rainbow flag? Oh, I know, The One had it made into shorts.

I have not. I don’t spend a lot of time in “downtown” West Chester... some good eats to be found, but I’m getting a bit old for the college scene. I’m at Limoncello probably once a year, and a trip to a random bar now and then to see friends play a gig, or the Iron Hill now and then - but typically I tolerate it just because someone else wants to go.

They only compared D.C. against entire states. D.C.’s never at the top in the list of cities with the most gays and lesbians.

Seattle, WA: More homos per capita than even San Fransisco.
Tacoma, WA (just south of Seattle): Voted ‘Gayest City in America’ by OUT Magazine.

(Cascadia Subduction Zone: just 80 miles off the Washington coast, Could destroy BOTH cities if ever it let loose with a “Full 9 Rip” like the 3-11 Great Japanese Earthquake. Makes you go “Hmmmmm.”)

Lol...I still remember a 60 minutes softball interview of Reno. As one point they asked her if she hadn’t met the right man, and thus was unmarried! Too funny-—trying to mainstream that hideous old hag.
