To make matters worse is the cold flowing in right behind the system.

I’m watching the temp drop, now. Might have to go in to work early.

There’s a series of tornado warnings along the front line, up and down the length of Indiana and into the western tip of Kentucky right now (3:45 PM EST). The front line is moving east, rather quickly, so this should be across Indiana and into Ohio before sundown.

It hasn’t even gotten to me yet but it looks like the front is starting to get kind of ragged which is good.

I sure do hate global warming.

Just passed-through GRR about 15 minutes ago; reminiscent of springtime thunderstorms.

It looks as bad as typhoon ravaged Tacloban and Ormoc, but it is Illinois. 9 days to go.

Tornado rips through Illinois, Raises property value.
Lowers crime rate. Well it would if it hit Chitcago.

I have a cousin and a friend from high school whose houses were completely flattened by these tornadoes. My cousin was at church, thankfully.
I haven't heard from my uncle who lives in Washington, and I've been told multiple others I know may have been hit, too.
It's a sad day for Central Illinois.
