Summary of the Week comes from the late Gilda Radner:

Obamacare? “Nevermind.”

==

Obama tries for a do-over and opens a whole new can of worms that is wrought with unintended consequences.

Obama ‘allows’ the delay of the individual mandates, if individuals can get a restored plan from their insurance company.

So what if the restored plans are illegal, under the Obamacare Law. The O hath spoken.

The O then sneakily appoints insurance companies and state insurance commissioners to, quoting Captain Picard of The Starship Enterprise, “make it happen.” That alleviates The O from having to act any more and it shifts responsibility for failure and conflagration onto the insurance companies and state insurance commissions. Slick, huh!

However, several state insurance commissions have already raised questions and/or declined participation in The O’s ‘recommendation’. One insurance commissioner (D.C.) has already been replaced for disparaging ‘the grand recommendation’.

Trial lawyers are already lining up for the probable lawsuits — from patients, from insurance companies, from medical facilities. This could turn out to be the greatest silver-lined cloud (for trial lawyers) since the great tobacco settlement of two decades ago that was supposed to end smoking.

The Fed is printing $80 Billion dollars a month to cover the wreckage Democrats have done to the economy.

Think how many businesses does it take to earn $80 Billion in a year...

And what if the insurance companies can’t get back their customer base?

Who then, can the hospitals bill for services that are going to be rendered?

Republicans must start stating Democrats, individually and collectively, have poor judgement and make bad decisions.

One stupendous example after another, stimulus, health care, housing loans, student loans, cash for clunkers...

FOX NEWS SUNDAY (Fox Network): Liz Cheney, Republican candidate for Senate in Wyoming...

I'm still not getting why she is running against Mike Enzi.

Mildly interesting at best today. Curious to see what Liz’s numbers are and if she has ever made any comments at all anywhere on amnesty. I searched everywhere and found nada.
Got about two more hours of weekend before I get back to work—unending this week.
Oh yeah thanks for the thread buddy, hope all is well up there in # 1 Alabama land!! My gators are destined for well—— the swamp I guess.

Early this morning on Fox and Friends, LtCol Allen West called for the president to RESIGN!

I’m not seeing this on the Fox News website yet, but that is certainly a daring move.

MTP concentrates on Obiecare this week. Should have been done last week, but they couldn't round up enough soft R's and libs. They got 'em this week; Mike Murphy, Kathleen Parker, Chris Mathews, etc...

I wonder if Mike Lee was asked, or Ted Cruz. ?

IRONY of the day?

FOX “NEWS”’ Chris Wallace interviewing
Liz Cheney, Republican candidate for Senate in Wyoming,
and asking her if she is a “carpetbagger” and then
a “flipper” (flipflopper).

— given Wallace’s long ‘love’-interest
for Mitt Romney, who has been the ultimate
pro-Obama flipflopping carpetbagger, and
never bringing it up before. Never. Ever.

Seeing little comment here on MTP today, I decided to watch it rather than just delete my DVR recording.

After enduring Pelosi, I firmly believe a “sharp stick in the eye” might have been a better choice and the segment with Chris Mathews is still yet to come.

Noticeably absent. And here is the reason, maybe.

John: Linda, you won't believe the weekend I have planned just for us.

Linda: Sounds good. BTY, I love what you're doing with your left hand. Shall I bend over this chair a bit more?

I know this is a late post, but is McNuts & Grahamnesty going to be sitting on both side of Ayotte? She can’t hardly speak without them next to her. BTW, is she sounding a lot like Susan Collins in her shaky delivery?

Some solid RINOS there in Ayotte and Kinzinger. Kinzinger says he is besties with Ted Cruz.

Being on vacation and picking thru a library of books not read in some time I reread FROM UNDER THE RUBBLE, by Alexander Solzhenitsyn and six dissident colleagues . Each provided an essay, translated from Russian, which touches on some aspect of what is now in full view for all Americans to see as the transformation of our Republic into a socialist, communist government. The book was released in 1974 and the age of the writers range from Solzhenitsyn 1918 to 1945. These men lived the history our country is now repeating. Fascinating reading, especially the essay by Igor Shafarevich titled SOCIALISM IN OUR PAST AND FUTURE.

One paragraph ends with ...Communists can state their theory in one proposition:the destruction of private property. The final sentence is, "Mankind is being opposed by a powerful force which threatens its very existence and at the same time paralyzes its most reliable tool---reason" The blatant and unceasing lies of this Obama administration torture reason on any level and seem to paralyze all logic and common sense of a large part of the US population and too many of their elected leaders.
