My grandmother died of skin cancer that was curable, but they told her after the biopsy that she was okay. It was the person next to her that was, and by the time my grandmother went back for a 6 month check-up, it was too late. They could do nothing then.
A couple months later she went back, the post op pain was getting worse they gave her stronger pain killers and told her not to worry.
By the time she got to a non-quack it was stage four and she had less then three months to live. It had been stage two leaning toward three and all the surgery did was spread the stuff.
Her husband sued and got a couple million but I am sure he would have preferred to have his wife of twenty four years and mother to their four children back.
Second opinion. Because some doctors don't know their elbow from their rear.
