Paper money has zero value as a savings, so people put it in stocks... which is a real gamble at this time.
The guys on Wall Street are cunning wolves who don’t get two Shiites about America or the economy. To them they are watching one of Michael Vick’s dog fights. Looking to the Dow as an indicator of America’s financial health is the same as asking the guy who won the World Series of Poker for financial advice - Hey he made a lot of money didn’t he? That makes him an engaged expert doesn’t it?
Just like in 1937 when Roosevelt ran out of money, the market will collapse when the fed stops bribing it to make it look good.
