Rockridge used to be a lovely area of old Oakland. I don’t think I’d want to live there today. Many of the beautiful parts of Oakland were devastated when they installed BART in the 1960s. What was left declined quickly.

It is only a matter of time before motorists coming from the peaceful east bay burbs are met with a large roadblock of burning tires on the Oakland side of the Caldecott tunnel, manned by armed blacks demanding a “fairness tax” to proceed.
