Obamacare was written by interest groups, including the health insurance industry, which supported Obamacare because it forced people to buy their product. This “risk corridor” language just makes sure they can only make money, not lose it.
Hardly anyone knows about this provision, just like so few knew that they couldn’t keep their plans.
Kudos to Rubio for putting the focus on this. Way to get ahead of the curve.
This should start getting a lot of play in the media and people will be outraged over it.
Obama will never sign legislation reneging on this, but why not force Rats to go on the record voting to affirm insurance company bailouts?
Rubio needs a similar bill in the House as at least that one has a chance of coming to the floor for a vote.
