U.S. Sen. Lamar Alexander is inviting his supporters to the Airport Hilton on Monday morning to have breakfast with U.S. Sen. John McCain. If you make the 7:30 a.m. event and want a shake and howdy and a photo it’s $2,500. If you just want breakfast with the Arizona senator it’s $500.
Alexander told supporters in an e-mail that he needs money to withstand a primary challenge from Washington groups with a history of defeating Republicans in a primary and losing the general election to “Harry Reid and the Democrats.”
Alexander said he needs to be ready if the Washington groups dump money against him in the primary because he’s not in the “shut-down-the-government crowd” and “I need your help.”
Alexander faces state Rep. Joe Carr in the Republican primary. In the last reporting period Carr raised about $52,000 compared to Alexander raising $838,000. Alexander reported having $2.8 million cash on hand.
Man! You’ve got to be lower then low information to attend that BS. (unless you’re an elitist that stands to gain $ of course)

Lamar! is getting a twofer from Crazy John - Sunday in Nashville and Monday in Knoxville. Last Thursday, Lamar! slinked into Johnson City for a $500 per plate luncheon that was kept pretty hush hush.
Joe Carr needs a big cash infusion now.
Can any Tenn FReepers report on what Lamar! is doing on television spots recently?

For the life of me I cannot figure out who would be enthralled with McCain or Alexander at this point. Maybe donor class types who want some special favors?
Lamar is TN! He hasn’t lost an election since 1974, the year of Nixon’s downfall.
If Lamar! really gets into trouble he can bring out Senators Baker and Kassebaum to shore up the base.

Only in the SNOBBY Middle or Eastern part of the state. Not us South of Nashville, might as well be Arkansas part of Tennessee.

I was at my Moms house this morning while a servieman was there doing some repairs. She keeps FOX News on all day. I kid you not in less than 15 minites time they had McCain, Rove, and Alexander on. I guess this was between 9:00 and 10:00 this morning. The MSM RINO push is on big time.
His home county is more conservative than he is. Alexander looked good politically for only one reason. He replaced a felon governor who was selling Pardons. Oh and he did loose the 1996 and 2000 POTUS Primaries. Lamoderate was a supporter of Don Sundquist a RINO governor whom in his second term triggered a major tax revolt at the state capitol. Alexander was shilling for a corrupt fraud and corruption ridden health care {Medicaid replacement system} called Tenncare a DEM Governor started which was bleeding the state coffers dry.
WIKI has some pretty darn accurate accounts of Alexanders magical investments as well. Alexander won the senate seat simply because two good conservatives split the primary vote. Had either conservative stepped out of the primary Alexanders elected office career would have ended.
Alexander and McCainiac. Big Government Republican and Bat-crazy Big Government Republican. They’re a natural pair.
