On Monday evening, former CBS News insider Bernie Goldberg appeared on The OReilly Factor to blame the tea party for a potential 2016 presidential loss. As far as the tea partiers are concerned, anybody to the left of Ted Cruz is a RINO, Goldberg lamented. But you know what? The real RINOs are the real people in the tea party and on the hard right, because they have made it clear over and over again that their allegiance is not to the Republican party but to their particular brand of conservatism, so theyre the RINOs.

Goldberg belongs on the O’Reilly program as they are both in the scam business ‘looking out for the folks.’
Carl Rove is considered an icon of virtue and his fat head is shoved in the lineup any time they can get him.
The RINOs will not back the Constitution so they are RINO’s
Now this clown says that we who do back the Constitution are the real RINO’s
Well remember the Clint Eastwood speech when he told Obama to do the impossible act?? IMO this guy can join Obama in that act.
dude reminds me of the black journalist Carl Rowan===railing about gun control, and all the while packing heat on him illegally in DC. Same kind of crap. Bernie Goldberg.
And you can blame us again if a RINO is nominated again in 2014 !!
I voted for both those Rino Losers but I won't vote for another RINO, Period!! ..even to defeat Hillary.
Any Rino would be just as bad as old Hillary!
Bernie Goldberg is right 95% of the time same as Krauthammer. He was wrong last night (I saw it on TV) I am far to the right of Goldberg but any day of the week I would vote for a Romney over Obama. I would still do it
You have to have some old guys commenting. Now they have George Will too.
However, Bernie is wrong about losing. Reagan won big and he got many crossover votes from Democrats, too. When the GOP was the party of ideas it was unstoppable.
Cruz simply advocates a return to the traditional constitutional relationship of government to the people.
Anyone to the left of him supports deviation from the constitutional role of government to one degree or other.
SO, yes, any republican to the left of Cruz is a RINO and is complicit in the destruction of our constitutional republic and can go to hell.
he said it on the right show..
The pimpin’ Pompous aRses&Blowhards R US show..
The Republican Party and the Rinos within that party labor under handicaps which do not weigh upon Democrats.
Nathan Bedford's first Maxim of American politics: all politics in America is not local but ultimately racial. Since the Democrat party is really a collection of interest groups it is not so dependent on arriving at either a candidate or a platform which embraces all its adherents. African-Americans will vote in the 90 percentile for the Democrat candidate whenever the chips are down, the Chris Christie election in New Jersey to the contrary notwithstanding. The model to watch is the Terry McAuliffe victory in Virginia.
Add to the African-American block the Hispanic block, the public service unions, the gays, the Jews, unwed females with children, and you have a formidable and virtually unshakable coalition.
In addition to this factor, the Democrat party maintains discipline through its finances. That is particularly clear among elected Democrat officials. David Horowitz has demonstrated in his blog, Shadow Government, that much of this money is controlled by very few hands and two of those hands belong to George Soros. A maverick Democrat politician faces a dubious future indeed if bucks this system. Not only will he be be defunded for reelection but he will find himself in the wilderness looking in vain for a sinecure.
On the Republican side we see Karl Rove trying to impose the same kind of discipline on behalf of Rinos and we see grassroots resistance that is not apparent in the Democrat party. In fact, the Democrats are able by bully tactics to extort money from what used to be Republican supporters, such as Wall Street and now Main Street.
So we have grave lack of discipline on the Republican side coupled with a vulnerability because the party is not built on blocks but built retail on individuals.
Bernie Goldberg commits the sin of most media types, he equates by resort to relativism the Rinos and the Tea Party. The Rinos have been in control of the party for years and they have consistently lied to the base and disdained the base. Which brings us to the next problem which faces Republicans, whether Rino or Tea Party.
The media will consistently portray the Republican Party as extremist and they will consistently portray the tea party as the extremist wing of the Republican Party. They will not, for example, describe Barack Obama as a radical Marxist. There is clearly an unequal treatment of these players in the media which manifests itself, for example, in permitting the Democrats to choose the issues upon which the election will be decided. So we have the Virginia gubernatorial election decided on the issue of condoms.
The media will do the same to Tea Party candidates as it does to Republican candidates generally. Consider that the media uniformly presented to the public the fixed conclusion that it was the Republicans and especially Ted Cruz and the Tea Party who shut down the government.
On this tilted playing field the Tea Party must prevail against the Rinos and then prevail against the Democrats and that is a daunting prospect. The media, like Bernie Goldberg, create much of the problems described here and then label The Tea Party as radical because it will not submit to them.
I agree totally with you. When Bernie started yapping, I turned to Waltons - at my age I need goodness.
What really made me angry was when Bill at the beginning of the segment called conservatives “right wing nuts”. Bill was talking and said “the right wing nuts and the established republicans”. Excuse me, he should have said the Conservatives and the RINOS.
Ass-weep-ay Goldberg is right! “My “allegiance” isn’t to the Republican party! It’s to the Constitution, God and my family! Lame brain.
As they said in the movie Used Cars, Too Fxxxinx much!
“BOR still wouldn’t come right out and use the word “liar.”
BOR-————————————————
there has been deception at the highest level and Obama has deliberately misled the American people because he ultimately believes the ends justify the means when it comes to imposing national health care on the American public.
OReilly argued, In order for the USA to become a progressive nation the federal government must control key aspects of American life. Therefore, Obama doesnt concern himself with people calling him out for untruths and misleading statements because he just doesnt care.
The president believes his vision for America, including health care for all, is more noble than any truthful statement, so he justifies his actions, even if deceit is involved.
Perhaps if a third party started it should be called ‘Constitutional Democrats’ or ‘Democratic Constitutionalists’ or even ‘Free Democrats’.
That way low information types who would vote for the Democrats would at least give it a look.
It might keep some Democratic Communists from getting elected. It would separate us from the bad juju of the Republican establishment, and could attract decent religious people from the Democrats.
He's been on the O'Reilly show so much, he may have caught it from O'Reilly.
Actually, I agree with him. I consider the R party to be D lite. So any conservative in the party is, literally, a republican in name only.
Us conservatives still in the R party are the RINO’s. But I’m no longer in that party.
Goldberg is just a slightly disillusioned Liberal who couldn’t take himself as far as the Commies want to go.
Lukewarm Republican converts have no credibility as ideological leaders.
All O’Reilly watchers should make a concerted effort to not watch — especially on Bernie Goldberg nights.
