Shhhh! Let the world believe that a random LA audience really was supportive of Cruz’s remarks.It is true that we had SOME southern California conservatives in the studio audience at last Friday's show...Not ‘radical right-wingers.’
...but almost EVERYONE ELSE that we met there were VISITORS from out of town - NOT "locals."I was pleasantly surprised with how many truly "random" audience members supported Senator Cruz.
In particular, I talked extensively to Ted Cruz supporters from Denver (Colorado), Canton (Ohio) and Ontario (Canada)......who had NO IDEA that Ted was going to be on the "Tonight Show" that day.
They were just good "salt of the earth" Americans from "flyover" country, who came to see Jay.
