I think the plan to commemorate the history of the site with a small memorial/plaque, but to put the property to a useful purpose is a good one
“and include a $30 million memorial” I think they plan on something more than a small memorial/plaque. And I agree we have been removing and developing cemetery property for over a hundred years. Having a public venue on the site would likely bring more attention to the history then it receives now.
