Psalm 2 King James Version (KJV)
1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying,
3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
6 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
7 I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.
10 Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
11 Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

What do they talk about? Nothing?
That was my first impression too, but in reality it's probably boilerplate socialist dogma thinly disguised as secular humanism or some similar claptrap.

Only 100,000 turned out for the MILLION MAN MARCH so liberals are prone to inflation.

>>That would be an intersting sermon. What do they talk about? Nothing?
The same thing as many mega-sized “Christian” churches: I’m awesome, you’re awesome, we’re all awesome. Global warming is real. Humans are a virus. Everyone would have more if we all “shared”. Gay is OK. Abortion is a necessary evil. Obama loves the little children, all the children of the world.
The atheist church adds a little: They recite their Apostles Creed, which is the party planks of the CPUSA and ask the non-existent diety to damn the USA.

In the 1960s, with Time declaring God Is Dead, we saw the rise of $cientology, the Manson Family (Manson even had an e-meter at his ranch), the “Church of Satan(TM)” (actually an atheist cult/coven/orgy club), and Jim Jones’ Democrat Liberal “People’s Temple”. Also militant sects like SDS/Weather Underground, Black Panthers, Nation of Islam, etc.
What filled the void in peoples’ lives was worse than what they claimed was so bad that it had to be replaced.

PCUSA seems to be trying to fall more in line with CPUSA as the years roll on.

Do Republicans ever credit God’s word with any of their platform positions?

What usually ends up happening is the “faith” eventually becomes faith in one man: Hitler, Stalin, Jim Jones, etc.
