I’m ok with he didn’t lie. Instead, he “promised.” And then he broke faith by doing nothing to insure that his promise was kept.

A lie to me involves something that exists. The law didn’t exist. But then again, his intention to keep his “promise” didn’t either. Period.

Lie? Broken promise? What’s the diff?

If you can't figure out why, no explanation is possible.
