Lauer is looking “long in the tooth”....kinda dorkish.

He deserves to have Sarah eat his lunch, arrogant elitist snob.

Neither one of them looked like they were having much fun! {^) Palin was sure adroit at deflecting Lauer's questions. Palin was almost funny on the Chris Christie question. Heaven forbid!

She pretty well snowplowed Lauer.

I bet Sarah would love another shot at Katie Couric, no???

She was held back by the McCain machine. Later didn’t stand a chance today, and Sarah is fearless. I want to see more of her. She is Breitbart.

I wish Ted Cruz would have slammed Jay Leno like that.

She wasn’t always ready for the MSM attack dogs as she is now. Cruz is just beginning his mainstream crucification.

Why would Lauer need a cup?

Cause his privates were probably aching after Sarah nigh eviscerated him.

Mm hmm. They went well together. I saw them speak together.

Cruz needs a little work going into battle, but hopefully he will get there.

Governor Palin has hit her stride. She has matured as a national politician.

In her unique way, she has taken the right course and made the right decisions over the past five years.

Did you all watch the same interview? She deflected the question about the Right’s solution to health care and then gave an absolutely nonsensical response about tort reform threats.

She didn’t articulate solutions. She dodged the question then rambled off some talking points about tort reform threats. Free markets and tort reform do offer the solutions to the healthcare problem. She just did a terrible job at articulating that.

I'll grant you, she could have done better. But her message got across at least in principle, and most important, she sidestepped the many landmines Lauer planted in that interview and talked about things that need to be talked about. Are any other conservatives going out and boldly saying the same things better on national media? I'll bet Palin wishes there were some!

They neither of them seemed at ease. Palin's smile was forced most of the time, though some of her laughs were genuine! Lauer oozed passive-aggressive contempt.

I’m good with that.

Well it’s no surprise Laurer was playing “gotcha games.” The media has contempt for conservatives. But it does no good to sidestep their questions. She should have immediately answered him that conservatives offer plenty of solutions, the media just doesn’t listen. Instead she kind of rambled, and now the Lefty sites are running with memes about her tort reform response. I know it’s tough to be flawless, but that is what’s required to beat this despicable media.

What did you expect from a ten second sound bite? That's all she had. I liked her brief response. Things like health savings accounts, vouchers, deductibility, etc. can be addressed in a policy speech. I don't see other Republicans, Sen. Cruz included, wading into those weeds yet.

“Matt Lauer is so rude. He can”t even have a back and forth without a hostile tone.”

Of course. He is suffering from Alinskyitis.

IMHO

One wonders if Sarah took an extra-long shower after that interview.

IMHO

Exactly. It’s like the small percentage of people who claim to be gay [3.5-4%] and their agenda keeps getting shoved down our throats.
