Seems like this would shift the shortage of women to North Korea. Having to trade your wife for a bowl of rice is not a position I’d like to be in.
This I learned from a girl who had family in china 20 yrs ago....It stated with the one child rule....communist big shots would arrange these banquets when too many babies were born....

I don’t think that N.Korea limits the number of babies by law like the Chinese do. HOrrific on any level.
