We grew up with absolutely NO health insurance. We simply paid the bills as they came due, when we had the money.

I never had insurance till I got a real good job with great benefits. Till then, I always paid my Dr and hospital bills out of my pocket.

Wait till these idiots get on Obamacare, pay for their high rates, then have something come up like a new roof or a new car, or something else they would rather have.

If they have not been using the Obamacare insurance, they will drop it and use the money for something else they consider more important.

If your combined family income is $95,000 you and yours are not eligible for any of the obamacare subsidies.

Reminds me of the adds for the SURE credit card a few years ago. If you remember, it was for people who could not get a regular Visa or Mastercard. Cost $29.99 a year and they would even bill you for it on your new SURE CARD!

Problem is no one ever accepted SURE cards.

This reminds me of how Jews in the Nazi concentration camps worked with the German camp guards to herd their fellow Jews into the gas chambers and when those same ‘helpers’ were used up they were sent to the chambers themselves.

The private insurers early on bought into the Obamacare scam and when Obama is done with having them ‘help’ they too will be discarded and destroyed in favor of Single Payer.

Private Insurance Sector May Take On Larger Obamacare Role

Facing pressure from the public and Washington lawmakers, the Obama administration may be laying the groundwork for using the insurance industry to directly sign up large numbers of uninsured Americans, The Washington Post reported.

Insurers have been working behind-the-scenes on contingency plans should they be asked to step-in and take a larger role, The Post reported.

The White House is also turning to private insurers for technical help to fix the HealthCare.gov site. Starting this week industry computer specialists will work directly with those writing code for HealthCare.gov.

“To function as intended, the marketplaces need a broad, healthy risk pool to keep staggering rate increases from occurring. “

Uh, in case they haven’t heard yet, staggering rate increases (and staggering out-of-pocket increases) have ALREADY occurred BEFORE anyone at all has signed up! In fact, it looks like those staggering increases will keep ANYONE from signing up except the lucky few who will be subsidized to get FREE health care because they don’t work or pay taxes. For the rest of us? Nothing.

I’m surprised that their current sales pitch to young, healthy working Americans is failing. “We need you to subsidize your older, sicker, richer neighbors!” How is that not a winning slogan?

I am surprised so many understand how it is going to work; if only they had been so thoughtful about voting in the last couple of Presidential elections...

And why isn't Social Security voluntary, too? What's up with that?
