Paraphrasing:
"No question, the web site WILL be up and running on Nov. 30th ..."
Jay Carney: “I overheard the president and advisor Jarrett suggesting a new computer virus, possibly some bird flu, stating that the matter had, unfortunately, recently turned into “an even bigger flustercluck.”
“There is no cause for concern. We urge you to remain clam.”
there is no way in the world that everything will be working on Nov 30
when that statement was made (Oct 25 approx), if they have all the changes ready to go, the time to nov 30 would not have been long enough to test such a complicated system
Mr Zeinst is getting a crash course in what happens when you put big IT projects into production w/o proper testing (in this case almost no testing)
once they get the website working better, they will get enough volume to expose the problems with the data hub, connections to insurance companies etc
we are watching one of the most spectacular big IT project fails of all time
Ah, there must be ... two typos.
It’s f’ing D-E-A-D. Kill the law. Now.
And Obama didn’t inherit this. He made it!
No question, he’ll be under the bus by Christmas
"Let me be clear. What I said was 'No question, the web site WILL be up and running on Nov. 30th ... if I could write code.' I'm sorry if you people don't hear everything I say."
Quick, somebody tell the boy-king!
Hey, as long as they make it by the second arbitrary deadline, then it’ll be a success. If they don’t, then there will be a third arbitrary deadline. Et cetera.
The fatal flaw to Obamacare is it puts all the eggs into one basket. If someone hacked into the system and erased the database, we all would be sucking wind.
I have been on many software projects (making and testing). I could go on with the failures. But this is called FUBAR, epic fail.
Also, the testing team should never be part of the production team.
Today I laughed so hard due to the fact on facebook on Healthgov a lady posted that she signed up online on October 2, now she is worried that it may not have gone thru. So she asked everyone if she should reapply online.
Someone responded by saying “Just like voting...Apply early and often” ROFL
I wonder if these state counts included people who may have reapplied?
Someone also responded to her saying “apply often then call 1-800-F U ROFL.
They already spent $600 million on this colossal fail. Spending even another dime is repulsive.
Pull the plug.
“We’ll have to try to fix it to find out what’s wrong with it.”
