Barack Obama and many of his key allies (like Terry McAuliffe) are very unethical political operators and chronic liars seemingly willing to do whatever has to be done to gain and to hold onto power.

Understatement of the year.

“Overwhelming hunch”?

Never heard of that before. Is that a new legal standard?

Is it still possible to make a contestation and recount?

****************

Yes but not likely in the Gov. race if it stays in the 2.5%+ range. A recount
can’t be request until after the Election is certified by the State and that
occurs on Nov. 25, 2013.

There maybe a recount in the AG race which has less than a 500 vote difference at
this time. The race has to be less than 1% or less for a request to recount.

That’s why America is lost — more and more voters will be joining the group subsisting on welfare.

The Founding Fathers failed to specify voter qualifications.

Voter fraud? Why, shucks. Everybody knows there's no such thing as "voter fraud".

Oh, maybe there's just a very few isolated incidents out there when somebody makes a mistake. But, hey, that's just human error or Tea Partiers trying to prevent minorities from voting! Juan Williams, Bill O'Reilly, all the FOX Democrat strategist guests, and every Democrat politician I've ever heard tell me that so it must be true!

Can't we just move on to more serious problems like figuring out how to get more people signed up for food stamps or fixing health care so it is free?

I am surprised that no one has mentioned Chuck Hagel’s business.

And why he became secretary of defence after obumbler won in 2012.

Democrats have election fraud down to a science. They can win by any margin they choose.

For one thing Cucinelli is the attorney general of the state with a pubbie governor. One would think they would have publicized the fact that the Libertarians were funded by a RAT bumbler, as well as taking steps to avoid typical rat vote frauds.

They can when the “hard working” stay home. Those areas are largely farming and they will not give up their freebees either..

Those maps aren’t an apples to apples comparison.

Gilmore was running against Mark Warner, an extremely popular former governor. Cuccinelli was running against Terry McAuliffe, a sleazy corrupt fraud who never held elected office that even Democrats disliked.

To the point, Terrible Terry didn’t win a majority. First time since 1965 a candidate for VA Governor failed to gain a majority.

There is no more important issue than vote reform and fair elections. Why the GOP doesn’t hammer on it I don’t know.

VA does require ID and has since pre-2000. It was strengthened this year.

The analysis is more wishful thinking than objective. It’s my wish that Cuccinelli had won. I’ve voted for him 3x now, but the fact is that he lost this election.

It didn’t help that the sitting, nominally Republican, Lt.Gov. who served two terms alongside Cuccinelli (and who expected to be the candidate this year) let his anger and bitterness color his every public pronouncement regarding Cuccnelli and this election.

It didn’t help that the sitting, former Golden Boy Republican Governor got embroiled in a series of scandals that left him unable to campaign effectively for Cuccinelli.

It didn’t help that the big GOP organizations (NRC and Republican Governors) pulled $ support when polling two weeks before the election showed Cuccinelli down 12 points.

The only thing that DID help was Obama coming into the state days before the election.
