That's right. Ted Cruz to be on Leno tonight. Looking forward to FReepers comments as they are always informative and many are very humorous at the same time. Buckle up FReepers. I'm sure that Ted and Jay will keep us both informed and entertained.

Sen. Cruz was his usual transcendent self. He never bites. He keeps on topic, that is, focusing on what the people need, not what the media, Jay, say they want.
Good styling, as well. white shirt, no tie, great boots.
He won over a few tonight.
Jay might even end up liking him, having, until now, believed what his shallow handlers and ‘friends’ have been saying.
Best bit was when Sen Cruz was equipped with a numbers value reply about the Bush question. Thirty percent more prosecutions under bush over gun crimes, than BO.
People are thinking and doing a double take. A guy who thinks and can provide numbers on the spot, for comparison.
BTW, either they rehearsed it, or Sen Cruz anticipated that question. Or he just has those facts in his head.

America's enemies, such as Jay Leno, rightly fear but are awed by Texas Senator Ted Cruz. Chris Hayes, a communist commentator on MSLSD, had this to say about our outstanding Christian, Conservative Senator:
In October 2007, I sat in the media gallery of the United States Supreme Court and watched the Solicitor General of Texas [Ted Cruz] argue on behalf of the state that he should have the ability to put to death a Mexican national who had been convicted of raping and murdering two teenage girls in Houston. He won that argument and he was executed by Texas on August 5th, 2008, despite the objections of the United Nations and the International Court of Justice.
At the time, I had no idea who this man arguing on behalf of Texas was. but all I could think was holy c**p, this guy is good. It was one of his nine times arguing before the Supreme Court and he was witty, incredibly fast on his feet and clearly had a brilliant legal mind. It is to this day one of the most impressive displays I have ever seen before the Court and I have had the good fortune to spend a lot of time there.
A lightweight like Jay Leno is easily demolished by the truly gifted Ted Cruz. He'll make a great American leader along with Sarah Palin.

That was our primary objective.We talked (briefly) with Senator Cruz after the taping, and he said that

I have a Leno story. He breezed in for the 95th Harley fest in Milwaukee in about 1999. Didn’t talk with anyone before or after the 10 minute appearance...which he was compensated for way more than he should have been ..and worst of all, there were two children on stage with him in wheelchairs and he didn’t greet either one of them...walked by them as if they were invisible.
I missed the whole thing, and I know everything to know about Cruz (The fixer, rollback guy and restorer of the Constitution), but is Leno a liberal now? I’ve never watched him, but does he have long knives for Ted?
Illegal aliens (mostly from Mexico and Central America) are killing and injuring people all over the lower 48. An illegal with a Spanish surname just killed two young children (and put an older sibling in the hospital in critical condition) here in Connecticut last week. This punk was out of his mind drunk - his giant SUV plowed into a smaller car filled with children.
There are similar sad stories happening almost daily all over the northeast in recent years.

Others may have a different opinion, but in this picture I see a Ted Cruz who is confident and willing -even anxious- to fight for this country.

Exactly, I noticed that as well. Leno was an a$$hole in the same mold as the nasty, arrogant David Letterman tonight.
All these late-night clowns are funny and amiable until a conservative or a - God forbid - "polarizing" member of the Tea Party comes on their show. Then out come the the angry, rapid-fire questions about "social issues" and "why did YOU shut down the government?" and "Why won't YOU *Republicans* ever compromise?".
And of course these cowardly late-night clowns don't give the conservative any time to actually answer the question. It's a miracle Ted Cruz got a word in edgewise at all tonight...
