My neighbor across the street [55 years old] has been on full disability for a decade now. Anger-management issues.
Off-topic somewhat, but his sister [58 years old] has been on disability for 15 years because her knees keep giving out -- has had three replacements. Of course, she weighs about 300 lbs., too.

Man, that p*sses me off. I have foot problems from thirty years of running. I was a very muscular 210 pounds at age 58, but I still managed to lose 30 pounds so I could walk down to my project on the production floor without too much pain. Every step still hurts, but it’s less at the lower weight. I now have a six pack and it’s not easy. I have to watch every calorie and exercise hard five days a week. I have no sympathy for people who are sometimes hundreds of pounds overweight, or who drink or who do drugs. None of those should be disabilities. Would I qualify for disability? Possibly, but I look fantastic...er...muscle-wise. I’m folliclely challenged. Who would believe that every step hurts?
