Look dad, pull her out and home school

Hell no, those public schools are financed through local tax dollars, and we are compelled to have our children to attend school through the 12th grade..

If the schools aren't qualified to teach under constitutionally mandated practices, they need to change.. Submitting to their inequities, won't improve the system, but place an added burden on the child and taxpayers..

I don’t home school but when my child comes home and reports on what the teacher has said, we discuss it. This week the teacher said the Oklahoma City Bombing was an act of a “Christian Terrorist”. We showed how the teacher was wrong. Yesterday, my child said that her teacher was reciting the “Shahada” and said that you can say it and not really mean it. ( I’m thinking he wanted the kids in class to say it.)

These are teachable moments and prepares my child for the real world. And the far left teachers don’t realize that they are re-enforcing conservative views in my child with their low tolerance for anyone who doesn’t think like them.

If I were Mr. Cohen, I would have questioned what this assignment was about as regards the supposed subject, American History? Admittedly, current events will eventually be part of the historical record, I would seriously question whether this was appropriate content for a middle school class. There is plenty of material that is clearly part of that subject to keep the young skulls full of mush engaged without going directly to obvious indoctrination with a biased publication as the source document.

I told my kids early on that teachers typically stepped & fetched for those who signed their paychecks and managed their retirement accounts. Just play along for grades but think for yourselves, do not trust teachers to tell the whole or even part of the truth.
