I’ve been flipping through some channels and have watched a little Rugby...I have to say that those guys are massive and tough! I have no doubt who would be tougher - a rugby team or an NFL team. In a street fight, the rugby team would win by a landslide!
It is amazing to see the rugby players dive into a pile on the ground without any protection with the exception of teeth guards and sometimes, head padding. Sometimes the close-ups show cleets shoved up against a players face at the bottom of the pile, and then everyone suddenly gets up and moves on to the next play as if nothing ever happened. I would be dead, broken in pieces and out within 10 second of the start of a rugby match.
