No surprise. I bet that Chairman Bob Avakian feels the same. Sellouts, these Congresscritters are. We are the true Marxists/Trockists/Leninists/ Maoists (choose one.)

The Clintons probably understand this about Obama, the GOPissers don’t, or are afraid to say it.

My understanding is the Charlie Rangel did honorable service during the Korean war, but other than that, yeah, he’s pretty much a hack, As much as it pains me to agree with Obama and it does, very much.

I can imagine O not liking some specific black leaders, but disliking “professional left” people? Not a chance - they were and are his friends and mentors, he filled his administration with them, and they are his shock troops around the country.

Yes, like Robespierre indeed. Unfortunately, there’s little chance at this point that his own rigidity and excessive zeal will cause his allies to turn on him, since they can just wait him out. The real danger for them is if he tries to anoint a puppet succesor, a Medvedev, so that he can continue to rule behind the scenes.

2016 could get interesting, because if he tries that strategy, he is going to step on some toes, and there could be a real brawl in the Democrat primaries.

I think his usage and our usage of the term is different.

He sees the “professional left” as those who just view it as a job, a means to money and power. As opposed to the “revolutionary left”, who are in it for the cause, rather than the rewards.

That is my understanding, too. But like McCain, his post-service tenure to this country in politics has been much less than honorable.

Even a broken clock is right twice a day. I guess this is about it for O.
