Companies will have to begin selling traveling health insurance. Otherwise, retirees won’t be traveling at all. Obamacare will eliminate interstate travel. It makes a police state that much easier to administer.

Too bad. That is the way now. Besides, Agenda 21 says you are to stay in your box.

but the materials I have seen say that you'll be covered for urgent care or an emergency room visit.

From what I've gathered, the exchange policies in my state are going to cover only true emergent care when out of area or at a non-network provider, basically similar to EMTALA requirements. No urgent care or "soft" emergencies.

This makes a problem, I’d think, for snow birds. Who aren’t going to be happy when they discover they can vote in more places under Obama than they can obtain healthcare. Also for people on vacation who get hurt or sick away from home.

It would seem very undesirable if the ACA compliant policies did not provide out of network benefits covering whatever care was provided under a case meeting the EMTALA requirements. Not only would it leave the patient in a bad way, but it would increase the amount of care hospitals had to provide without an easy way to get paid.

Of course having both the hospital and your insurance company doing everything they can to declare you "stable" and get you out the door isn't a very comforting situation to be in. And nobody would consider that a better situation than the current nationwide benefits provided by many insurance companies.
