In debate, Angela Corey defends charging some juveniles as adults

[Florida] State Attorney Angela Corey said Wednesday she draws a line on gun crimes when it comes to her office’s decisions to charge juveniles as adults.

“Some of these kids … are bigger than any person in this room and some of them are meaner than anybody you’ve ever come across,” [Corey] said.

Angela Corey did not seem to be concerned with Trayvon Martin's size or support the idea of using a gun to defend yourself against some of these larger, meaner kids that she mentioned. Her solution is to have a class about crime for elementary school kids emphasizing personal responsibility for their actions. Apparently, violently attacking people who are watching you from a distance is a responsible and lawful act by Corey's standards.

You can see in the George Zimmerman case that Corey is going to get tough on crime by getting tough on the victims of crime that defend themselves. No thank you.

How often do you see liberals losing their political positions these days? For example, Kathleen Sibelius still has her job despite the miserable failure of the Obamacare roll-out. Hillary Clinton did not lose her job as Secretary of State over Benghazi. Lois Lerner is still employed by the Federal government despite her criminal role in the IRS targeting of conservative groups. And the list goes on...
