You missed the quotation marks?

There’s no reason to demolish the building unless there was indeed something to cover up.

I ddin’t miss the quotation marks. My point is, how does demolishing the building further any sort of cover-up?

Having served at Ft. Hood 3 decades ago, there were still WWII temps being used. There was no real loss in replacing them with new buildings. Depending upon the age of this building, it may be that has reached the point where it is cheaper to level it than made repairs/modernization. A good example are the 1950’s era Capehart & Wherry housing.

Does anyone out there know when the buiding was constructed?
