What does everyone else do with nuclear weapons ?
To use against the civilized world.
Take on Iran.
The Saudis don’t feel like they can rely on the US for protection anymore. They don’t have a large Saudi population to have a military large enough (and loyal enough) to protect their land, government and resources. Nuclear weapons are a cheap defense when you don’t have enough Soldiers.

To counter Iran. The Kingdom has been scared sh!tless of a nuclear Iran for a while now and it appears they’ve given up hope that the West will take care of the issue. The Saudis and the Israelis are oddly aligned on this matter.
Or they are targeting interests that are not the same as ours.
Honestly, I suspect they are worried about Iran.

Those rich arabs have been creative creating artificial resort islands and beaches. Maybe they want nukes to reconstruct Saudi Arabia into an island? They have way too much oil money on their hands and not enough things to spend it on.
