I am fed up with the establishment GOP including Christie for not supporting Cuccinelli and their negative rants regarding the TEA party.

Thank you, New York Times for exposing these vermin.

The MORAL HERE.

TEA PARTY PEOPLE: You MUST run candidates for local municipal and County races AND, more importantly, RUN CANDIDATES for County and State Republican Committee vacancies and offices. The COunty Committees elect the COunty Chairmen and Chairwomen and THEY set County Republican policy. Ditto on the state level. MANY of these porrly visible positions go UNFILLED due to lack of interest, HENCE are EASY to fill. Just get enough signatures on a petition and you are in.

We have to take over the GOP. If we do, the Carl Roves, Reince Priebuses, etc, will either work for us or get FIRED.

Most of all, don’t EVER contribute to the GOP directly. ONLY contribute to INDIVIDUAL Republican candidates who reflect our views.

The fact that the establishment is DOING this indicates they are scared OF US!!

"There are already two Democrat Parties. They just have different names."

There is really only one party, the DC party and it is all about screwing the public to support big corporations. We are very close to becoming a fascist country. I define fascism as big government allying with big business to promote more big government and more big business while at the same time eroding individual rights. We are very close with our current DC cronyism government.

"deeply conservative"

More leftist/liberal/New York Times wordity.

Take away the ajectives and adverbs of progressive wordity, and you get (including, properly, apt replacement of "they" - where the NYT authors failed at grammar):

Leaders of the Republican establishment, alarmed by the Tea Party candidates, are pushing [the Republican] party to rethink how it chooses nominees and advocating changes [leaders of the Republican establishment] say would result in the selection of contenders.

The push comes as the national Republican Party is grappling with divisions over its identity and image, and [leaders of the Republican establishment] complain that conservatives are damaging the party with tactics like the government shutdown.

The debate intensified on Wednesday after Kenneth T. Cuccinelli II, the conservative Republican candidate for governor of Virginia, lost a close race in which Democrats highlighted his opposition to abortion, his views on contraception, and [his views on] immigration policy.

The [leaders of the Republican establishment] pushing for changes want to replace state caucuses and conventions, like the one that nominated Mr. Cuccinelli, with a primary system that [leaders of the Republican establishment] believe will draw Republicans and produce candidates.

That in itself is not the answer either. It has been reported that as long as they identify with the GOP, they have to send a certain amount of the money they receive to the Party. Then the Party gets to divvy it out as they see fit.

Just look to Alan West’s last run. He may as well have done better without them because he received squat. Just look how the GOP dominated Florida House gave the Democrats everything they wanted in the redistricting, including getting rid of the safe “white” district he was proud to represent.

STARVE THE BEAST. DEFUND THE GOP!

I’m no third party advocate - I just don’t see how to reconcile this.

The only way to reconcile this is with infantry regiments.

Now that you mention it, all of them. I sure that if you check close enough or back far enough, you will find some type of ties to the philosophy of the Democrat Party in them.

“When the RNC calls, I hang up.”

Not me......I take it as my opportunity to let them know WHY they aren’t getting money from me and WHY candidates who support conservative ideals, such as Ted Cruz will get my contributions directly.

And also, DON’T POLL. Don’t tell the rats and GOPe how much fraud they have to manufacture for each race.

Notice nobody in the LSM is remarking about how a 12pt lead shrank in a weak to 2 pts. The truth coming out of the VA election is gut-wrenching to the Left. We lost VA by only 50K votes.

I agree with that. Now that the majority of voters are getting what they voted for. They are crying like babies.

less extreme contenders.

You mean less extreme contenders than the OPPOSING party? I mean, they sure do nominate less extreme contenders, don't they.

We are rapidly approaching a decision point.

I am in favor of voting for another party, as long as we start it with real leaders.

How about that, Palin? How about that Cruz? How about that, all you Americans who watched the GOP throw away yet another election by doing nothing.

America needs jobs, and principled leadership. Vote for America.

Same kind of a deal. The RNC gets no more money until they act like Republicans again instead of Dem-lite

I don't think they are scared. Obviously, they get their money from somewhere if A LOT of us out here in fly over country are not contributing. And on the down side, so what if we do not contribute! They will simply decide to hand over top spots to people like McAuliffe.

True.

The media spins everything to help the left and the RINOs help the Media. I’m sick of it.
Lonegan ran on an anti-abortion, pro-Second Amendment, anti-Obamacare, low tax, small government ticket in one of the bluest states in the Union where he was outnumbered by 700,000 registered Democrat voters, got NO help from the RNC, and was outspent by his opponent 10 to 1.

He got 44% of the vote.

Even the last PRESIDENTIAL election was no real victory for the left. Obama got fewer votes than before and there was only a small percentage difference between the two candidates and we ran a deeply candidate - in many ways.
